My name is Jessica Wehber (Ms. Jessica) and I am so excited to be joining the LVA team as a 1st grade teacher.  I was raised here in the Bay Area and went up north to get my BA in Elementary Education from the University of Portland. I also minored in Psychology, choosing to focus specifically on how it relates to teaching by taking courses rooted in the psychology of learning and child development. As for my life outside of the classroom, I have an amazing dog named Cooper who is my best friend. Being around animals is a very tranquil experience for me, so I spend most of my time with Cooper as my shadow. He keeps me company when I read, play boardgames with my friends, and take care of our crested gecko, Ripley.
