My family and I live in Livermore, CA. My husband and I have two amazing teen boys. Our family enjoys playing together, neighborhood block parties, going on local and overseas adventures, and Tuesday night pizza and family movie. Our home is filled with joyful noise – kids, music, neighborhood friends, our silly puppy Cozmo, squeaky guinea pigs Lou and Spice, Sports the Kenyan Sand Boa, and Limo, our diva bearded dragon.
For the past 12 years I have cared for and educated young children. In 2019 I returned to graduate school for my Master of Education. During the following school year, I had the privilege to work with a stellar 1st grade Master Teacher – together we navigated through the 2020-2021 challenges of remote, hybrid, and in-person education. I learned more about myself, the resilience of children, and the deep and far-reaching benefits of family-teacher teamwork.
